His situation at the Court obliged him to marry. In a salon in the
Marais that he goes to regularly he meets a rich widow, Charlotte-Anne de CHANLECY, Lady
of Sainte-Croix.
This distinguished marriage is preceded on the 5th of March 1659 by a contract
which bears the signatures of :
